Orbitz’s general counsel resigns

— Orbitz Worldwide Inc. said Friday its general counsel and chief administrative officer, James Shaugnessy, is resigning to take a job at another company.

Mr. Shaughnessy joined Orbitz as general counsel in 2007 before Orbitz went public. Orbitz did not did not identify Mr. Shaughnessy’s new job.

Marsha Williams, Orbitz’ chief financial officer, retired in January and was replaced by Russ Hammer.
